Rank Overview:
The Initiate is the entry point into Blacksky. This is a probationary rank where new members are evaluated for activity, discipline, character, and long-term potential within the Imperium.
During this period, Initiates are expected to integrate with their Chapter, learn Blacksky’s culture and structure, and demonstrate consistency both in-game and within the community. Advancement is not automatic. Trust, reliability, and participation must be earned through action.
Probationary requirements may vary between Chapters. Refer to your Chapter Codex or speak directly with your Marshal for additional expectations and requirements.

Rank Overview:
The Legionary is a full member of Blacksky who has completed probation and earned recognition within their Chapter. Legionaries form the backbone of the Imperium’s day-to-day activity, culture, and operational strength.
At this rank, members are expected to remain active, support their Chapter, participate in events and discussions, and uphold the standards upon which Blacksky was built. A Legionary is no longer being evaluated as a newcomer—they are expected to contribute to the stability and growth of the Chapter around them.
Legionaries may request approval to adopt a BSK gamertag. All name changes must be approved prior to use. BSK gamertags remain optional until reaching the rank of Legatus or Senator. Advisors are exempt from this requirement.

Rank Overview:
Enforcers serve as the officer corps of a Chapter and operate directly beneath the Marshal. They are responsible for maintaining standards, reinforcing discipline, guiding members, and ensuring the Chapter remains stable, active, and organized.
An Enforcer is expected to lead by example. They assist with recruitment, mentor Legionaries and Initiates, help resolve internal conflicts, and identify members who demonstrate leadership potential. Enforcers also support Chapter operations by assisting with meetings, events, communication, and member oversight.
This rank marks the transition from participant to leadership. Authority at this level is earned through consistency, reliability, and the ability to uphold order without compromising the culture of the Chapter.

Rank Overview:
The Marshal is the commanding authority of a Blacksky Chapter. They are responsible for the growth, stability, discipline, and long-term health of the Chapter under their command.
Marshals oversee all Chapter operations, maintain member activity and cohesion, guide leadership development, and ensure Blacksky standards are upheld at every level. They are responsible for promoting Initiates into Legionaries, developing Enforcers into future leaders, and maintaining a culture capable of sustaining long-term growth.
Beyond leadership, a Marshal is expected to preserve order within the Chapter itself. They organize meetings, events, recruitment efforts, and communication while resolving disputes and maintaining operational stability amongst their members.
A successful Marshal does not simply manage a Chapter—they build one capable of enduring, expanding, and eventually producing future leadership for the Imperium.

✦ Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capability
✦ Successfully oversee the growth or split of a Chapter
✦ Maintain the position of Marshal for a minimum of three (3) months
✦ Show understanding of Legion structure and large-scale operations
✦ Express interest in advancement through your Exarch
✦ Complete leadership training under an Exarch and/or Legatus
