Blacksky Chapter Naming & Lineage Doctrine

I. Purpose
This doctrine defines how Chapters are named, how lineage is marked, and how Foundational authority is preserved across Blacksky history.

Its purpose is to:

  • Protect Foundational identity
  • Prevent lineage inflation or confusion
  • Preserve historical truth without escalation abuse
  • Ensure future expansion remains disciplined and readable
Blacksky records history accurately. It does not allow history to spiral.

II. Foundational Chapters (X Designation)
A Chapter bearing the suffix X is a Foundational Chapter.

Definition:

  • A Chapter directly created and designated by BSK EXiLE
  • A Chapter originating from the Founding Era of Blacksky
  • A Chapter whose status is historical, not reproducible
Rules:
  • The X suffix is exclusive
  • It cannot be earned, inherited, escalated to, or recreated
  • No split, vote, or promotion can produce a new X Chapter
Authority:
  • Only BSK EXiLE may designate a Chapter with the X suffix
  • Senate, Custodians, or other Founders may recommend
  • Final approval or denial rests solely with EXiLE
III. The Role of Bloodlust X
Bloodlust X is the only Chapter permitted to propagate lineage.
This is due to its status as:

  • The first organized Chapter of Blacksky
  • The structural ancestor of all later Chapter formations
  • A pre-Legion Foundational entity
Bloodlust X does not undermine Valhalla. It predates it.

IV. Lineage Propagation Rules

A. Direct Splits from Bloodlust X

  • Any Chapter that splits directly from Bloodlust X receives the suffix:
Rules for I:
  • I is non-escalating
  • There is no II, III, IV, etc.
  • Every split from Bloodlust X always produces a new I
  • Multiple I Chapters may exist simultaneously
Example:
  • Bloodlust X → Prophecy I
  • Bloodlust X → Dominion I
Each I stands alone.

B. Splits from Chapters Marked I

  • Chapters marked with I do not propagate lineage
    • No suffix
Example:
  • Prophecy I → Empire
  • Dominion I → Ascendancy
Lineage stops cleanly.

V. Other Foundational X Chapters
The following Foundational Chapters:
  • Blood Oath X
  • Wrath 7 X
  • Blood Eagle X
Rules:
  • Retain their X permanently
  • Do not propagate lineage
  • Any Chapter splitting from them receives no suffix
Their authority is historical, not generative.

VI. Prohibitions & Safeguards
  • No Chapter may ever:
    • Advance toward an X
    • Stack suffixes
    • Escalate lineage markers
  • No Chapter may be renamed to imply Foundational status
  • No suffix system may override this doctrine
This prevents:
  • False Founders
  • Artificial prestige
  • Historical dilution
VII. Final Canon Statement
Blacksky lineage is recorded, not gamified.
  • X marks origin
  • I marks direct legacy of Bloodlust X
  • No suffix marks standard formation
Nothing climbs toward the Founding Era.
Nothing replaces it.
History stands.
Structure endures.
Blacksky remains intact.
